Reopening Update (5/11/2020)
We at Totality hope that you and your loved ones have remained safe and healthy during this difficult time. The COVID-19 virus has significantly impacted all our lives and we are hopeful that, with proper precautions, Totality will re-open in a way that maintains our commitment to your health and safety as always.
We intend to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations related to being open and the types of patient interactions and procedures that can be done in a clinical office setting.
Patient safety and sterile precautions have been a routine part of our services here thus we have always followed standard universal precautions to help protect every one of our patients, their families, and our staff. Recognizing that this crisis requires additional steps to ensure safety in our facility we will:
- Check the temperature of all staff members as they enter the facility daily and ask anyone with a temperature > 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit to depart.
- Limit the number of visitors and companions.
- Limit the number of people in the office at any given time.
- Screen patients and patrons prior to entering the facility regarding COVID-19 exposure.
- Require that all patients, their companions, and patrons wear a mask or face covering.
- Remove unnecessary items that may collect germs such as magazines, coffee machines, and snacks.
- Practice social distancing.
- Disinfect common areas frequently throughout the day.
We are confident that we can minimize any health risks as we welcome you back to Totality. Please contact our office with any questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to continuing your care soon!
Office Hours Update (As of 5/1/2020)
Due to recent updates from the CDC and Oklahoma officials, Totality has extended its closure date to May 11, 2020. This extension is an effort to ensure the safety of our patients and team members. Your well being is at the heart of our practice.
If any patients who have recently had an outpatient surgery have concerns in relation to their surgery, please call Dr. Santangelo directly at the number listed on your discharge instructions. If there are other questions or concerns, please call our office to speak with one of our staff members.
For those of you with an appointment the week of May 11th, please be looking for a phone call from one of our team members to update your information and instructions on the protocol for your appointment.
Thank you for your understanding during this time. We look forward to serving you all again soon!
Stay safe and healthy by following the precautionary guidelines listed by the CDC at this website: cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html
